1800 Market St, San Francisco, CA 94102
Whether walking, biking, driving, or taking public transit, we all use city streets and services everyday. We may gripe about lack of funding or wild budgets, but how many of us actually understand how these systems operate?
At this forum, we will learn exactly what transportation funding looks like in the City and County of San Francisco today. We will also get a picture of what it could look like in the future, with speakers discussing specific examples in the works here in San Francisco as well as other successful funding models around the world. We will also look at the transit initiatives on the ballot in November and how they fit into the larger picture of transportation funding in San Francisco.
A great primer for the election, or any citizen who wants a better understanding of how their city works.
